When do people shop online?

I started a t-shirt shop for extra cash couple months back! Most of my sales came during St. Patty’s day but none really since then.

When/what are the common hours/time a day people shop online? Also, where is the best place to focus marketing efforts?

I use traffic exchanges but not good for direct selling. I can’t blog but have posted several classified ads. Myspace is falling on deaf ears so who buys funny t-shirts and what time are most purchases taking place?

Surprisingly enough, people shop online most of the day. Now that cell phones can do pretty much anything. However, there much to do.

Social Media- Attach yourself to all of them: Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and whatever you can think of.

Blog- People love blogs. Its a great way to see what others are wearing and its great way to communicate with people who buy from you . You might even get ideas too.

Word of Mouth- People are Always going to tell more than 10 people where they buy their clothes.

Website- It needs to be fresh with sales and text. If people go to your site day after day and nothing has changed, they will soon go somewhere else. People Love Change.

What do they get from your Site? Are you just asking them for money or are you giving something worth their time. Maybe something fun with their package or even a contest?

One more thing, YOUR WEBSITE NEEDS TO SELL! The site is not bad, but it needs to be more.

Is 1000 unique visitors/day a lot for a new blog or is it obtainable for most people within 3-6 months?

I am finishing my website and about to put it online and i would like to start my marketing plan. I would like to know if 1000 visitors a day is possible in 3-6 months with out paying for visitors. I am willing to work hard and make sure my content is interesting and relevant I would just like some ballpark figures and ideas for people who recently started a blog/website so I know what to expect. if 10 visitors a day within 3-6 months let me know now so i can just give up! LOL

It could be possible if you somewhat involve on the social aspect of internet. People love valuable content and nice people with interesting personality. So blog and socialize.

Most of the blogs I believe can’t get reach 500/ day even after one year.

What is the most spammed category in Yahoo Answers?

I notice a lot of spam in this section. It will follow this format:

Question: "Guys do you like this website (link)?"

Body: "Take a look do you think it’s useful?"

(A few suckers will click, not realizing that there isn’t a question but the asker just wanted you to click and buy something on the site).

Answer: "If you want to make money go here (link)/ref?=333" or "Go to my blog for more (blogspot link)".

The referral link means you sign up under them for the program and you make them money. Their blog likely has a bunch of Google Adsense ads that you click and they profit.

Anyway, I think it could be Advertising and Marketing, or the Career section with 500 people asking per second "How can I make money online?" What do you think? People are getting sneaky about it!

Polls and Survey, which is a magnet / haven for frivolous stuff. YA was smart to put in that category — it keeps other categories pretty clean.

Other than that, I think the LGBT Cultures group gets spammed a lot — though, I’d categorize it more as trolling.

Overall I have to agree – this category sees the most referral link / affiliate crap out there. Especially by the users with 0 points, 0% authority, yet 6 questions….
