Why is there so few chinese web participation?

I know the chinese actually do use the internet but why don’t we see them in blogs, websites, etc. Why isn’t the chinese stock market information/data/blog content as user-friendly as the american info or the european info (i mean, online).

They have very, very limited internet usage as far as what they can acess. Almost all social websites are blocked, things like youtube are also blocked. They sensor content very heavily and things like blogging are prohibited or limited. This is a very informative video i have watched in the past on youtube if your interested.

    Because the Chinese government censor the internet a lot.
