Hey I made a game site my freshman year in high school last year and had it for personal use and decided to put ads on it. I started getting clicks and got excited, so i started advertising it! Then got greedy and told my friend to click my ads…Lets just say it works for about a day. Then they banned me with about $70 in my account. I was bummed so I made a new site with a whole new advertising company and make about thirty dallors a month. So yes you can make money from ad programs, but do not click on your own ads…THEY WILL CATCH YOU!!!! Also for a guide on how to make a free website and put ads on it, here is a link below. you u can make some from adbrite/adsense but u need more traffic to your sites to get click from users

Clicking the ads yourself, and asking friends to do so, is usually against the terms of service of these companies. They have very sophisticated ways of telling if you do this, and if they catch you, they'll cancel your account and won't pay you.

can i really make money from my web-site or blog using Bidvertiser and Adbrite or is it a gimic?
i’m making a generic free website and was thinking about placing ad’s from one of those places and telling my friends to click the ad’s and clicking them myself. does those things really work or is it some kind of gimic or do they have some kind of hidden charges??? thanks for any help in advance
