How can I move my blog to a domain named page, and what software do I use?

I am interested in moving my blog at www.golfheaven.blogspot.com to a domain page, but wonder what type of software I should use in order to continue to blog with ease. Does anyone know of any hosting sites where I can still have blog features but have freedom to sell advertising space. I also am interested in finding advertisers and making a little dough. Any ideas anyone?

Most domain registrars offer domain forwarding so if you purchased golfheven.net you could forward that to your existing site if you wish.

There are a few blogging sites that offer full service hosting as well. TypePad being one i’m familiar with and have used as you intend to use.
